Ivorypress
Ivorypress Ltd. is a printing press founded by Elena Ochoa Foster in 1996. Ivorypress Art + Books opened in Madrid in February 2009. It brings together the normally separate worlds of art and books, creating major gallery spaces with a connected bookshop specialising in art, photography, design and architecture. Ivorypress Art + Books was created out of an existing printing house and garage by architect Norman Foster with Foster + Partners.

Revelations. The History of the Photobook in Latin America
As of 5 June, Ivorypress will be hosting Revelations. The History of the Photobook in Latin America, an exhibition consisting of a selection of photobooks published from 1920 to date in eleven Latin-American countries. Little known to the wider public until now, these works have come to light thanks to research led by the art historian Horacio Fernández, curator of the show.

Subverted
On 14 February 2012, Ivorypress Art + Books Space I is opening Subverted, a group exhibition with artworks by Edward Burtynsky, David Maisel, Nuno Ramos and Carlo Valsecchi. The show throws a spotlight on the rapport between man and Nature, a relationship whose dynamic has been radically altered over the last few decades. Download the press release on the following link.

Hannah Collins The Fragile Feast
On 12 January 2012, Ivorypress Art + Books Space II is opening The Fragile Feast an exhibition by the photographer Hannah Collins (London, 1956). Following a series of conversations with Ferrán Adrià — founder of the restaurant elBulli — on the importance of sourcing the perfect ingredients, with the maximum quality, the British artist set out on a journey to photograph thirty of those carefully chosen ingredients from Adrià’s cuisine.
