Launch of the book The Fragile Feast. Routes to Ferran Adrià

On Tuesday 24 January at 7 pm Ivorypress hosted the launch of the book The Fragile Feast in the presence of the photographer Hannah Collins, the chef Ferran Adrià and Elena Ochoa Foster.
The Fragile Feast.Routes to Ferran Adrià recollects the work of British photographer Hannah Collins in which she traces down 35 dishes by the renowned Catalan chef, from their origins to the elaborate presentation. Together with the photos, each ingredient in the book is accompanied by a text describing the work of the hunters, farmers or gathers behind it, as well as maps pinpointing the origins of the products.
A selection of this group of works, which in total is composed of 250 photographs, will be on display at Ivorypress Art + Books Space II until 4 February 2012.
Banco Sabadell has sponsored the Spanish edition of the book and this exhibition, which was seen at the Banco Herrero art centre in Oviedo in 2011.
We served some wines offered by Bodegas Gutiérrez de la Vega: Casta Diva Cosecha Miel, moscatel from Jávea and Recóndita Armonía, sweet wine.
