Sarah Moon

After modelling for several years, Moon began her career as a fashion photographer in 1971. Eight years later, she began making short films, a career that has gained her international recognition in film festivals such as Cannes in France and Bologna in Italy, where she has won major awards. She had her fi rst major photography exhibition at the International Center of Photography in New York, USA, in 1983, and has continued to exhibit her work in major international institutions and galleries. Moon has also published several monographs, including 1 2 3 4 5 and Coincidences, among others.
