Migliora uses a range of disciplines including drawing, video, design and photography to explore subject matters such as identity and obsession, also incorporating text into her images to further expand their meaning. Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions at The Foundation for Art & Creative Technology, Liverpool, UK; Galleria Lia Rumma, Naples, Italy; and Percy Miller Gallery, London, UK.
"The image is a still from the video Bianca e il suo Contrario, 2007, where the artist stands motionless, staring straight at the viewer. Like a bride, she wears a white dress and holds a bouquet of roses of the same colour. The static atmosphere of the scene is suddenly interrupted by several drops of black water which roll slowly behind to fall from above. The dress gradually changes colour, as do the body and face of the protagonist. In this way, in the arc of time that symbolises a lived experience, the subject is radically transformed, and the dress, like the skin of the protagonist, absorbs the black liquid as the indelible sign of the passing of time."
