1964 Davos. Switzerland
Spinatsch’s Surveillance Panorama projects is a search for a new way of creating documentation images, similar to animated images and to painting, but using photography. His mission is not to exert control over people or to cover an event, but rather to revert hierarchies and pictorial criteria. What the camera records is dictated by a computer, not by the photographer. His work has been seen in solo exhibitions at the Centre de la Photographie in Geneva, Switzerland; VTO Gallery, London, UK; and Galerie Luciano Fasciati, Coira, Switzerland, among others.
