Annika von Hausswolff
Hausswolff reduces the settings in her images to make them work in an associative, dreamlike way. She works with a view camera, which intensifies the staged images through the slow photographic procedure. In the razor-sharp images lies a mysteriousness that she describes as a feeling of being present but not knowing how you got there. The images deal with a human predicament, a condition, a place in the human mind.
