Seven years ago we launched the C Photo Project with the first issue of C International Photo Magazine, a high quality magazine published in a biannual basis whose objective was to provide a platform to bring photographers to the general public around the world, promote development and encourage debate about contemporary photography.
The magazine has been presented in Paris, London, Beijing, New York or Moscow, and the C Photo team has curated exhibitions as C on Cities on the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2006, in 2007 NY C at Phillips de Pury in New York City or C Action Photo Virus in Prague. In 2011, C Photo curated the exhibition Real Venice in collaboration with Venice in Peril, which was part of the 54th Venice Biennale.
The collection of ten numbers of C International Photo Magazine has become a reference encyclopedia of contemporary photography.
In 2010, Ivorypress launched a new C Photo cycle. The publication has become a collection of monographic series, published in English and Spanish, and which intention is to provide a new perspective to the one offered by C Photo/Ivorypress on contemporary photography. Each volume counts with guest editors such as Tobia Bezzola, Martin Parr or Marta Gili.
We welcome our fans to the recently opened C Photo Blog, whose intention is to talk about contemporary photography with special emphasis on the authors who has been featured in the pages of C Photo.
