Book of the month/
Hannah Collins. The Fragile FeastThe Fragile Feast is the outcome of the collaboration between the artist Hannah Collins and Catalan chef Ferran Adrià. It explores the origins of food in different cultures. Collins sought out the original sources of a selection of around thirty foods and ingredients Adrià uses in his famous restaurant elBulli. Together with the photographs, each ingredient in the book is accompanied by a text describing the work of the hunters, farmers or gathers behind it, as well as maps pinpointing the origins of the products; the book also includes twelve recipes by Ferran Adrià. Banco Sabadell has sponsored the Spanish edition of the book published by Hatje Cantz. The book launch is going to take place on 24 January at Ivorypress in the presence of the artist and Ferrán Adrià.
